"A Certified Nurse Psychotherapist does the same work as any other educated psychotherapist, are using psychological and counseling methods to assist in behavior and mental health challenges. Usually the nursing curriculum incorporates some form of health counseling within the definition of nursing practice. Psychotherapy can be done with individuals, families, and groups provided the nurse has obtained additional skills, knowledge, training, and supervision in psychotherapy. Current fees are $125 per session, with sessions lasting 60 minutes.
Services are covered by some insurance plans, please check the coverage with your individual plan.
Payment is due at the beginning of each session and can be made in person or online using a credit card or etransfer. If you are interested in other forms of payment, lets discuss at a complimentary new client consultation.
